My new Baby

Just picked it up

the only sad thing is that there was two guys in there trying to sell their guns.
was talking to one of them he has been out of work for 6 months and out of money- he was glad his house was paid off, but need money for food.

Like I have said before you can talk as big as you want on here how you would never sell your guns, gold or silver no matter how bad it gets.

but lets see how big you talk when you need food, housing for your family.

back to happier thoughts here is some pics

That's a grip safety like 1911's have. If the trigger is somehow pulled without the grip safety being depressed in, the gun will not fire.

Just hope that you never have to sell any of your guns. If you do, try and find a private party to sell to. If you want to sell to a dealer, you better bring your own lube, cause you're going to get bent over!

Nice.

Sold about 10 guns during my 20's to buy books for college. It sucked, but it is nice that firearms are very liquid, unlike houses.

Luckily I was able to re-accumulate firearms.

Point taken. Great looking gun.

Nice choice. I have the XD9 Tactical... absolutely love it. I have video of my 9 year daughter shooting it this weekend. Priceless!

I think you will be very happy with your purchase.

Nice. The XDs seem like a quality gun.

And the grip safety is the greatest safety design ever for a pistol in my opinion (even though I don't like any safeties at all).

That's funny... I just bought an XDm 9mm in OD green polymer. I have been trying to locate one for a while now. I guess most gun stores get them in onsies and twosies and they go quick. I wanted one in all black, saw one yesterday in two tone black/ silver, went back to get it, and all thye had was two tone green/ silver.

Private is the only way

I love my gun shop in town - but when they put their guns on the counter to sell I felt bad for them because the gun shop owner started pickng them apart.

next week they will be in the gun case and they will be telling everyone they are the cleanest used guns you can find.

nice xd. I have been shooting one of these down the range for the last few months. It is the HS2000 in 9mm which is what the XD is sourced from. I have a CZ on order for 6 months now...... still waiting. Supposed to be here 2 months ago, then 4 weeks ago, then last week...... So I have been shooting this while I wait. I really enjoy shooting it. Very accurate, great to handle. I like the grip safety as well.

if the CZ isn't here soon I am going to have to go for one of these.

Ok.... my delayed status came back approved so I picked up the firearm I already purchased which is identical to yours. Now I can bask in the the same 20 rounds of blazing glory that you are accustomed to.

I am a believer in the XD & XDM. All my friends swear by Glocks, and I have nothing really bad to say about them, but my XD 40 has always had a great trigger, and has never had a misfire of any type. Take down is a cinch, and it is more accurate than any glock I have fired. Granted mine is the tactical version with the 5" barrel. When the XDM 9 came out my boner rose to the occasion.

I like the OD green bi-tone for some reason even though I was planning on the black or black bi-tone.

God Bless You All.... for helping to turn me in to a gun nut.... Now I have 6 handguns & 6 long guns with a bleeding heart for many more. Praise be to the XDM!!!

I have a couple XD tacticals and I've been oogling over the XDm's. My wife was actually encouraging me to buy one when we were at the gun shop last weekend but money currently needs to go other places. I did almost buy a ruger mk3 target pistol though. That along with a range membership would be some pretty cheap shooting to practice trigger control, sight alignment, etc.

Very nice looking gun.

My gold and silver, I am sure at some point I will sell it or trade it for something. It is money after all and you can't take it with you.

Guns are basically tools and I would not part with mine (unless it was a gun that I didn't want or need anymore) for any reason.

Wouldn't that be kind of like selling your fishing pole to eat rather than putting it to good use?
